As a co-founder of Sportworks, Andrea heads up the training and development arm of the consultancy.

Taking a strategic lead, Andrea manages a team of professionals offering government funded qualifications and bespoke training solutions to many of the UK’s leading sport and commercial organisations, including the Youth Sport Trust, Regional Sports Agencies, County Sport Partnerships and Local Authorities.

Andrea has used her key contacts in the industry to drive a skills agenda and ensure a structured career pathway for those working in sport, particularly for sports development officers, governing body officers, coaches and people working at NVQ level 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Andrea’s career history spans grass roots sports development through to regional and county strategic roles in sports equity and partnership management. She has also supported a range of organisations to acquire funding to enable large scale sports projects to be established and sustained.

Andrea is a former North of England hockey player and plays tennis at club level.
