A strategic thinker with a proven track record for business development, Gary joined Sportworks with ten years’ commercial and managerial experience at board level.

With a sound understanding of business dynamics and a demonstrable ability to re-align businesses for commercial growth, Gary aims to capitalise on his global experience of logistics and event management to add value to Sportworks’ unique service offering.

His career history has seen Gary forge successful partnerships with a series of major governing bodies in sport, including Archery GB, FITA (International Archery Federation), the International Association of  Athletics Federations, British Cycling, Volleyball GB, British Fencing, British Pentathlon and British Canoe Union, to name but a few.

Headhunted by Ron Noades, Gary was formerly managing director of Brentford FC and commercial manager of Crystal Palace FC, where he was responsible for initiating significant new revenue before the business was disposed.

Gary is a keen cyclist and also does his bit for the environment commuting from Sheffield to Matlock on his bike every week.
