Stephen Minto

Logistics Manager -

Stephen is logistics manager at Sportworks and is responsible for overseeing travel, transport and accommodation arrangements for those involved in major sporting events.  This role takes Stephen all over the world as he works with people at all levels, from competitors to international delegates.   

This year Stephen will be calling on his extensive project management and organisational skills as he works on the World Cadet & Junior Fencing Championships, the Archery World Cup in the Dominican Republic and the Belfast Open fencing competition as well as the 2009 European Canoe Slalom Championships in Nottingham.

Stephen joined Sportworks from WGT, a sports travel management company where he was operations director, building up a huge number of contacts within the sports industry.  His career highlights include working on the World Rowing Championships, the World Youth Sailing Championships and the Grand Prix.

Stephen is passionate about sport and plays hockey for Morpeth Hockey Club as well as enjoying golf and windsurfing.  Being logistics director at Sportworks allows Stephen to enjoy his other great passion in life– traveling.
