GB Softball team up for British Airways Great Britons award

Your online vote can help the Great Britain women's softball team get to the World Championships!

With the Great Britain Women's Fastpitch Softball Team qualifying for the 2010 Softball World Championships by finishing second in European Championships this summer - the team's highest-ever European placing - the team has been shortlisted in a British Airways contest called “Great Britons”.  The prize of 16 free flights is particularly significant, because the team currently gets no public funding and would mean that players and staff can actually get to the World Championships to take up their well-deserved place.
