Somerset FA Volunteers give Sportworks Training Thumbs Up

The Somerset Football Association Leadership and Management Programme for FA Community Clubs has been designed by Sportworks to support the voluntary workforce in managing and developing their football club and includes 4 one-day workshops:

• Effective Sports Marketing
• Accessing and Unlocking Funding
• Effective Communication to Improve your Club’s Performance
• Managing Coaches and Volunteers

The first workshop in the series, ‘Effective Sports Marketing’, took place on Saturday 10th April.   It was attended by delegates from FA Community Clubs across Somerset.  The interactive course was designed by Sportworks to show clubs how to market themselves to attract new players, coaches, volunteers and officials.

Sportworks’ experienced sport marketing expert Tom Wenham tutored the course.  Delegates rated Tom’s knowledge and delivery at 95%.
 
All delegates said that they would recommend the course to colleagues, with 100% rating it as good or excellent.
