Sportworks Scores with Archery World Cup 2007

Sportworks has been selected via a competitive pitch process, to event manage the Archery World Cup in Dover next August.

Hosted by GNAS, the Grand National Archery Society, the Dover World Cup event will take place in the first week of August 2007 and will double up as the third and final leg of the European Grand Prix series.

The event is to be hosted at the Duke of York Royal Military School and has received backing from UK Sport, among other national and regional sporting organisations. It will be supported by Dover Town and District Council, Kent County Council and is expected to attract around 400 world class archers from across the globe.

As the first Archery World Cup to be hosted in Dover, it is hoped that the host town will establish itself as the home of world class archery in the run up to 2012, and Sportworks will be doing all it can to play its part in achieving this.
