SSCo Training Pilot - Yorkshire Region

Sportworks are working in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University and the Youth Sport Trust to pilot a ‘Leadership and Management’ programme for School Sport Co-ordinators in the Yorkshire Region.

The pilot involves three one-day courses aimed at SSCos who would like to develop their skills in leading and managing people, partnerships and projects. Although each day is stand-alone, we are encouraging delegates to attend all three days to fully benefit from this fantastic package.

Costing just £50 + VAT for the three days, this provides great value and for those SSCos interested in taking their learning further, the course is accredited by Sheffield Hallam University and can earn 30 credits as part of the Masters Programme (total 120 credits).

The courses will be held at four venues across Yorkshire and led by senior lecturers at Sheffield Hallam University. If successful, it is anticipated that the programme will be rolled out across England from September 2009.
