USA begins 2012 Preparations

ACES

The chance to present to the decision-makers of any sector is usually not one to be missed, so when Sportworks had an invitation to speak at the Association for Chief Executives of Sport annual seminar in Colorado Springs, the only consideration was deciding who would travel there to make it happen!

ACES is the body that brings together the heads of the USA’s National Governing Bodies of sport, and they wished to hear more about the run up to 2012 for their elite squads whilst in the UK.  Working in partnership with the South East of England, we were able to show them the possibilities for travel, transport and accommodation, training camps and venues in the South East, as well as a Camp USA friends and family package.

Both partners were delighted with the warm reception that we received from the Chief Executives and hope to be working with more US sports and teams very soon.

It was fantastic to hear about all the preparations for London 2012 and also how we can get the most out of any stay in the UK.  It is vital for us that our athletes have the best facilities and support available around any competition – and it was clear that this could be catered for through partners such as Sportworks and South East England; we look forward to continuing our working relationship. said Stephen D Ducoff, President/Chief Executive of ACES.
