RFU Club Development Programme

The RFU and Sportworks have teamed up with Train to Gain in the South West to develop an innovative leadership and management programme for club volunteers.

Through the Leadership and Management Advisory Service, clubs have been able to access grant funding to enhance the skills of their senior club members.

The initial pilot programme involves 11 clubs benefitting from workshops on:

  • Developing and Sustaining your volunteer workforce
  • Managing Coaches
  • Financial Planning
  • Maximising your Assets and Generating Income
